Tuesday Treasures – 33 #Brainfluffbookblog

Standard

This week on Tuesday Treasures, some of the photos are from our beach walk on Sunday and some from the garden. As I didn’t have the energy to spend much time on a long walk, or an extended ramble around the garden, I didn’t get to take many pics. But the sun was shining and it was lovely to walk on the sands for the first time since February!

    • Oh yes, I love seeing the sun, too! And we have now had a run of lovely sunny days – buuut… (and I can’t quite believe I’m saying this) we need a bit of rain. Everything is growing so fast and the soil is far too dry!

  1. What great photos, Sarah! I love the beach pictures. And it’s so nice to see the new growth and flowers. We’re getting a little snow today! Some trees are blooming here, but not too much else!

    • Thank you, Jan:). It is lovely to see just how much Spring has sprung during March – we just need a bit of rain! I can’t believe I’m saying it – but it’s true…

    • It was a lovely interlude – but we didn’t spend all that long down there, because we didn’t have enough energy to go all that far and it wasn’t warm enough to sit. There was quite a biting wind, for all the sunshine. But I’m looking forward to sitting on that long, long bench eating a freshly fried doughnut and just watching the sea when it gets warmer:)).

  2. Oh what happy pictures. Just what I needed to say at the end of this long day. Thank you for the gorgeous plant pictures and the soothing beach pictures. A good way to end the day!

    • I’m so glad you found the photos cheering, Katherine. That’s what I’ve always intended with them – I’m strictly a ‘point and shoot’ person… But digital cameras make taking pics of flowers and plants, in particular, a real joy:).

    • I’m hoping in the coming week to be able to get away down to the beach a couple more times. Though I’ve been very busy continuing to deep clean the house in easy bite-sized bits…

    • Actually, we need some rain! Everything is going mad growing so fast – but the soil is very dry and I’m actually having to water my pots. Which is normally unheard of at this time of year…

    • Between you, me and the gatepost, Verushka – they’ve self-seeded themselves all along our garden path. They’re forget-me-nots and I love them:)). But I can’t take any credit for them!
