In this week’s Tuesday Treasures, I’ve some photos of our walk on the beach on Sunday morning with Himself. As you can see, the sea was quite rough as we’d had high winds the previous night. It was a brisk day, with a temperature of around 39 degrees F – and yes… there were three surfers bobbing around out there in the water, which you can see in one of the pics.

That looks way too rough and cold for surfing, lol.
I know! There are folks who swim all the year off our shores, but there is absolutely no way you’d get me anywhere near the water at this time of year. I rarely go in during the summer because it’s not warm enough!
Only that promenading gull seems impervious to the fierceness of the waves! A bold bird, indeed… 😀
The gulls were wheeling over the waves and sitting on the water, clearly feeding on something – that was the wussy one that wouldn’t brave the waves:))
Cold and blustery looking to me – no way I’d be in that water.
Thanks for sharing 😀
Not exactly mediterranean blue, is it?
After 6 weeks, our beaches are finally open again today! Can’t wait to get to the beach. We are taking a long weekend and I am so going to the beach.
Have a good week Sarah!
I don’t blame you! I’m aware that we are very, very lucky – I don’t know what we’d have done if the Govt had decided to close all the beaches…
Great pictures! There is no danger I’d be surfing in that!
Thank you:)). No – the water doesn’t look inviting, does it?
Your pictures made me homesick for Virginia Beach, Virginia here in the States. The sea is the sea…is the sea, right?
Also, your picture is charming, Hon.
Ah, bless you, Rae:)). And you’re right – the sea IS the sea, wherever you are in the world… I’m so glad we have access to the beach for our exercise.
