In this week’s Tuesday Treasures, I’m back to Bexhill, where I was on a writing retreat with my sister in law at the end of September/beginning of October. This was our last evening there and after writing hard, I looked up to see this sunset roaring across the skies. So I grabbed my camera, went out to the balcony and stayed there for the next half an hour as the skyscape put on a farewell for us.

These are lovely, a good sunset never fails to make me smile😁
Thank you, Tammy. It was, indeed, a glorious sunset…
Perfect conditions for beautiful skies!
They certainly are – those clouds made all the difference:))
Amazing! In some pictures the sky seems to be on fire, but in a good way… 😉
Thank you so much for sharing them!!!!
That’s exactly what I thought as I was taking the pics – it looked like the whole sky in front of me had ignited…
You’re very welcome – watching this show unfurl in front of me left me feeling so emotional and uplifted. So I wanted to share it!
I really hope I can visit this area someday.
It was just lovely, being able to watch the light shifting across the sea and sky, while writing…
Lovely pictures, a sky like that never fails to put a smile on my face 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
You’re very welcome, Silvia – it was an utter joy to watch this unfold…
I love watching a good sunset and your pictures are excellent, I rarely find my photos do justice to the real thing but these are great.
Lynn 😀
Thank you! It’s the cloud formations around the setting sun that set this one apart. It was breathtaking to watch – and I was delighted that I managed to catch some of that drama in this set of pics, too…
What glorious cloud-scapes! Sunsets have been hard to catch these days, but your post has me hoping I can catch one soon.
It helped that we had a 180 degree view of the sea and the sky for the duration we were sitting writing together. And I had my camera alongside my computer…
