In this week’s Tuesday Treasures, I’m returning to Bexhill, where I was on a writing retreat with my sister in law. On this particular day, we had a procession of sunshine and showers and watching the rainclouds travelling across the sea towards us was incredible. And – for the record, I haven’t added any filters or tweaked the colours in any way. The clouds really looked like this…

Those clouds are stunning, like paintings almost😁
I found it riveting to watch these clouds march across the skies throughout the day. And you’re right – there was a real painterly feel to the scenes outside our windows. It was such an inspiring place for our writing…
Such ominous clouds, and yet they possess a sort of… savage beauty – for want of a better word: these are delightfully dramatic pictures! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Yes – it was very dramatic to watch. We had the lights on at times during the day as those lowering clouds passed overhead. And at other times, there was bright sunshine and we needed the blinds to so we could see the computer screens:)).
I love seeing the rain out over the ocean! Looks like lovely writing retreat weather!
It was wonderful, Katherine…
