When interceding in a family quarrel, don’t be afraid to roar louder than anyone else.

Castellan the Black, mighty dragon warrior, features in my short story Picky Eaters, written to provide a humorous escape from all the stuff that isn’t happening on Wyvern Peak… All proceeds for the duration of its publishing life are donated to mental health charities.

I’d like to see Castellan out-roar Bash. That kid can go on, and on, and on, and on, and just when you think he’s too tired to go on–UP goes the volume! 🙂
Does he roar when he’s playing – or when he’s cross? My son used to have an amazing bellow on him when he used to run around the garden, playing. Though the catch was, it was often at the same volume when he was cross, too. He had a shocking temper as a youngster – but the good news is that he’s a very laidback adult!
Ooooh yes. He has an EXCELLENT ROAR for when he’s cross; curiously enough, when he was a baby he’d growl when he was happy! We called him our little monster. 🙂
Oh, that’s adorable!
My son definitely follows this advice. You can hear him everywhere when he pipes in.
Lol… It’s a tactic that only works when you don’t have any family members with louder voices!
My son certainly takes that honour in our family.
There is always one…:))
