Do remember that these days, you aren’t allowed to give the pesky lizards a good old-fashioned singeing. A fact they don’t need to know…
Castellan the Black, mighty dragon warrior, features in my short story Picky Eaters, written to provide a humorous escape from all the stuff that isn’t happening on Wyvern Peak… All proceeds for the duration of its publishing life are donated to mental health charities.
Reblogged this on powerfulwomenreaders.
Wonderful. Sharing 🙂
Thank you:))
Aw, who changed that rule on the poor old dragon?! That feels like it should just be the accepted norm as far as dragons go…
Castellan was certainly more than a bit fed up about it, initially. However, it’s surprising just how much he’s mellowed:)). I’ve been having great fun with him… I went away with my sister-in-law for a writing retreat and ended up writing just over 27,000 words in a fortnight. It’s been so wonderful to be back in our turret room!
🤣🤣 Times, they are a-changing. Grandparents have to adapt, but who would ever want to singe their grandchildren.
Exasperated dragons, apparently:))). Although Castellan these days talks that talk – but hasn’t so much as breathed flaming smoke at them. He’s an old softie, really…
I have your book, I need to get the time to read it and learn about Castellan.
Thank you for getting hold of the book, Carla! I hope that if you get a chance to read it, you enjoy it:))
