I’ve been uploading photos on my Sunday Posts, which have been getting a lot of positive comments, so I have decided to feature the pics in their full size, so you can see some of the detail. This week, I am featuring our outing to the Wetland and Wildfowl Trust near Arundel in West Sussex, last Thursday. It was a hot day and relatively quiet due to the restricted numbers and one-way system. Which meant for a lovely, peaceful walk at a time when it’s normally very busy. Here are some of the photos I took…

These photos make me feel so peaceful! Thank you for sharing, Sarah😁
You’re welcome, Tammy… It is such a lovely place – and a small enclave for an environment that used to stretch across the country for miles and miles, before it got drained…
Oh, what a lovely spot. That must have been such a pleasant place to walk!
It was really lovely, Becky – such a beautiful spot…
What a lovely place!!!! 🙂
We are members and have been for years – it is a magical place…
We love a day out at the Wetlands in Arundel, this makes me want to book a slot immediately, lovely pictures 🙂
Oh I highly recommend it right now – it’s so much quieter than usual… Though hopefully – it will be cooler when you go!
Beautiful pictures as ever Sarah. Thank you so much for sharing.
Lynn 😀
It’s a pleasure, Lynn. I’ve enjoyed taking the pics so much:)).
Lovely photos!
Thank you, Shelleyrae:))
Lovely! They make me feel good to look at them.
Oh, I’m so glad you find them a comfort, Jennie – I had hoped that would be the case. I know how much pleasure I get from some of the wonderful photographic blog posts I regularly visit, too.
They definitely did! I love photographic blog posts, too. Best to you, Sarah.
And to you, Jennie…
Thank you!! I love that you shared a part of your world with us. This is a place I would love to visit and often one that is overlooked when traveling with limited time and historic sites and landmarks to see.
It’s a slice of a historic landscape that has largely been eradicated – we’re very lucky to be living so close and able to visit so often…
Beautiful photos, Sarah. It’s nice to see you enjoying the bright weather! 😀 I stayed somewhere similar on a holiday to Suffolk where the holiday lets were almost on the nature reserve. It was wonderful!
I’ve heard that is a beautiful part of the country – and it’s somewhere I’ve never visited. It sounds absolutely idyllic:))
It was beautiful! On the doorstep of Bury St Edmonds too! 😀
Somewhere else I’ve never visited… We do need to get to that part of the country at some stage:)
I miss solitary nature walks! Yes, walking with the kids is nice as well, but rarely so peaceful. 🙂 xxxxx
Oh yes – I remember! Though there will come a time when you recall the noisy walks full of arguments and laughter with great fondness… If that is any consolation!
It is! 🙂
