Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by the fabulous Jill at Breaking the Spine.
This week’s Can’t-Wait offering – Keeper of the Watch – Book 1 of the Dimension 7 series by Kristen L. Jackson

Chase Walker is beginning to doubt his own sanity. From the moment he turned eighteen, a strange paranoia has taken over his mind. It all started the moment he discovered his uncle’s old watch…
The watch calls to him. Though it beckons, he resists. His body strains toward it, blood pulsing, heart pounding in a mysterious and primitive need to connect with his uncle’s old beat up watch. When sexy and mysterious Alyx saves his life, she promises answers. She talks of dimension travel, and wears a magical watch of her own…
Again, I fell for the cool-looking cover and liked the idea of the blurb, which seems to indicate some kind of time travel. I’m looking forward to starting this one as I’m still on a science fiction kick.
This sounds fascinating! Time travel stories don’t always work for me, but I’m intrigued. Thanks for sharing😊
Thank you, Tammy. I thought this one sounded intriguingly different, too:)
Nice cover…I like these stormy themes.
Yes… I’d love to say it was the engrossing blurb – but it was the cover that pulled me in:).
The cover caught my attention as well! Love the stormy look! I’m not a big time travel fan but I’m intrigued by the blurb on this one. It sounds like it may be a little more complicated than just straight up time travel.
Oh yes – that was what caught my attention too. I’m rather reluctant to go for a straight time travel adventure as in my opinion, Jodi Taylor has so completely nailed that one, I’d rather not go down that road again:)
Hope you enjoy, sounds intriguing and I do like the cover – it has a mysterious vibe.
Lynn 😀
It does, doesn’t it? Thank you for swinging by:)
Sounds like it will be an interesting read and I do love that cover!

It is really cool, isn’t it? Thank you for swinging by Jenea:)
A watch as a time-traveling device sounds like an intriguing premise: I can’t wait to read your comments on this story!
Yes… this was the premise that caught my attention – along with that cover…:)
That is an excellent cover. I see why you were drawn to it. Nice blurb too and I enjoy a little time travel now and then. I hope you enjoy it, Sarah.
Thank you, Laura – I’m looking forward to it:).
You can be forgiven for falling for the cover, heck I’m half in love with it myself after seeing it. It definitely draws you in, and the description sounds intriguing too!
It does, doesn’t it?
I hadn’t heard of this one but I do enjoy time travel books, so thanks for putting it on my radar!
You’re very welcome:).
